Accounting Software in Malaysia

Internet-based Accounting Resources in Malaysia have introduce some of the most popular accounting software in Malaysia. One of them is AutoCount:

The BCE website offers accounting software in the AutoCount range. In addition, they also include information about the promotion of the product such as product seminar and dealer seminar.

Calculate Aging difference by days / months

Autocount Accounting is allow user to calculate Debtor or Creditor Aging report difference by days or month.
We can choose this setting from Tools - Options menus:

1. When option Differences of days is selected, the system will use calculate the number of days between report date and the invoice date, and use this number of days to determine which month should the outstanding amount fall in.
2. When option Differences of months is selected, the system will extract the month portion of report date and the invoice date, then calculate the number of months difference between them, and use this month difference to determine which month should the outstanding amount fall in.
3. For example, I have one invoice dated 28 November 2008, my report date is 10 December 2008,
   
4. Using Differences of days option, the outstanding amount will be in Current.
5. Using Differences of months option, the outstanding amount will be in 1 Month.

Form-Level Shortcut Keys
F9 - Focus Keyword text box.

Keyword Shortcut Keys
Enter - Start the search using keyword you type in.

Grid Control Shortcut Keys
Space - Toggle the selection of the focused row.
Enter - If no row is selected, then accept current focused row, otherwise, accept the
selected rows.

AutoCount Shorcut Keys - External Link Shortcut Keys

Alt-Insert - Insert a new external link.
Alt+Delete - Delete the selected external link.

Install Sample Account Book from Internet

User can try install sample Account Book from internet using link in AutoCount Accounting. Below is the procedure:

1. File -> Manage Account Book
2. Install Sample Account Book
3. Download and Install from Web
4. Select one sample account book. In this example click Happy Trading Sdn. Bhd.
5. Download
6. Finally, Restore wizard will come out and you just need follow the wizard to complete installation for sample account book.

Beside install from internet, if user have AutoCount Accounting installation CD, you also able to install the sample account book using the installation CD.

AutoCount Shorcut Keys - Grid Control Shortcut Keys

Ctrl+Insert - Insert a new detail row before current focused row.
Ctrl+Delete - Delete selected rows in the grid.
Ctrl+F - Call out the Further Description dialog for current focused row.
Ctrl+Z - Undo the detail.
Ctrl+O - Call out the Row Style dialog for current focused row.
Ctrl+T - Call out the Group Total dialog.
Ctrl+D - Call out the Discount dialog.
Ctrl+Alt+A - Select All rows in grid detail.
Alt-Shift+Up - Move the selected rows up one line.
Alt+Shift+Down - Move the selected rows down one line.
Alt+Shift+Left - Indent to the Left.
Alt+Shift+Right - Indent to the Right.
